Game Bros

Dansk version

Welcome to Game Bros’ board game universe.

We are two brothers with a passion for simple quiz games and board games that we love to share with you.

Our Danish miniQUIZ games are very popular, and now we have developed new games in English and German.

miniQUIZ games

We have developed one English game and six Danish games in the popular miniQUIZ series. Each game contains 600 exciting questions in a box that is easy to carry anywhere.

ENGLISH GAMES

Trivia (the blue) NEW
In the blue miniQUIZ game, we have gathered 600 questions related to general knowledge.

DANISH GAMES

Almen viden (the blue)
In the blue miniQUIZ game, we have gathered 600 questions related to general knowledge.

Almen viden² (the red)
In the red miniQUIZ game, each card has a headline in the form of an expression, a saying, or a proverb to which the questions are associated. In other words, the headline may provide a clue.

Almen viden³ (the purple) NEW
In the purple miniQUIZ game, we have collected 600 questions related to general knowledge.

Film (the green)
In the green miniQUIZ game, we celebrate all the great Danish and international films with 600 questions divided into 100 cards, each with its own theme, such as Danish film gems, Oscar winners, and movie quotes.

Cykelsport (the yellow)
In celebration of the world’s largest cycling race starting in Copenhagen on July 1, 2022, we released this miniQUIZ game with 600 questions about pro cycling. This themed edition is as much anecdote telling as it is a quiz.

Fodbold (the grass green) NEW
This grass green themed edition of miniQUIZ challenges your knowledge of Danish and international football.

Ways to play miniQUIZ

miniQUIZ can be played in many ways, including as a supplement to other games. Below are our first suggestions for ways it can be played. In all the suggestions, the turn goes clockwise. “The reader” is the participant sitting to the right of the participant taking their turn. When you have played an agreed number of cards or minutes, the winner is crowned as the one with the most won cards or points. Please feel free to write to us if you have other suggestions for ways to play miniQUIZ.

Discuss and Guess
You read the questions out loud and work together to find the correct answers. It works well as an icebreaker and isn’t too competitive.

Full House
You take turns answering all the questions on a card. The participant in turn wins the card if they answer all six questions correctly.

Every Man for Himself
You take turns reading the questions from the cards, and everyone writes down their answers. One point is awarded for each correct answer.

First Come, First Served
You take turns reading a question, and everyone except the reader bids. The reader decides who answered correctly first.

Reader vs. the Rest
The reader reads all the questions on a card, and the rest of the participants must try to answer them all correctly together. If at least one question is answered incorrectly, the reader gets the card as a point. The next participant clockwise reads the next card.
You can agree on whether the rest of the participants must have 4 or 5 correct answers on each card to win the round and cheat the reader out of the point.

Lone Rider
You take turns answering a question. The participant in turn rolls a die or selects a random number between 1 and 6. The reader draws a card and reads the question with that number. If the participant in turn answers the question correctly, they get to keep the card as a point. The turn moves clockwise.

Lone Rider Against the Wind
The reader draws a card and selects the question to be answered, then reads it aloud. If the participant in turn answers correctly, they get the card as a point.

Lone Rider Against Strong Wind
Before the game begins, you agree on how many questions will be read from each card and how many correct answers are needed to win the card.
In the example below, 3 questions are read, and the participant in turn must answer at least 2 correctly to win the card. The participant in turn mentions 3 numbers between 1 and 6. The reader reads one question at a time, and the participant in turn answers. If at least 2 questions are answered correctly, they win the card. The turn moves on to the next participant clockwise.

Lone Rider Against Strong Wind Uphill
Before the game begins, you agree on how many questions will be read from each card and how many correct answers are needed to win the card.
In the example below, 3 questions are read, and the participant in turn must answer at least 2 correctly to win the card. The reader selects the three questions and reads one at a time, and the participant in turn answers. If at least 2 questions are answered correctly, they win the card. The turn moves on to the next participant clockwise.

Other games

Word Gamble
Word Gamble is the word game where you have to come up with answers that outlast the other players – or withdraw in time and collect the prize.

Eliminate opponents by guessing their answers. If you fail, you’re out yourself! The prize increases as players drop out. If you wait too long to collect your winnings, you can lose it all!

Word Gamble is the word game where kids can beat the adults. You can play in 14 languages – even simultaneously! The game, which comes with topic cards and rules in both Danish and English, is suitable for educational use.

Confessions
In this entertaining and revealing party game for 3-10 participants, you are presented with a series of “sins” that give you the opportunity to confess! All votes are anonymous, and you decide whether you want to confess and share your experiences or reveal naughty secrets.
The board game is in Danish, but it’s available as an app in both English and Danish:
Confessions for iOS
Confessions for Android

Pababa
Can you compare a planet with two fried eggs, a dog-ear, a mosquito, a fairytale, a collapsed house of cards, and a tin foil hat? Of course you can!

Pababa contains 48 cards with incredible creatures, inventions, buildings, phenomena, and objects – all with six universal properties: Speed, weight, age, beautiness, value, and the special joker category.

The game is available in English and German, and you play it like a traditional quartets game.

Future games

We are planning more games in the miniQUIZ series.
